We are very sympathetic about your negative experience.
We as an automotive dealership do not have expert knowledge in regards to boats, as a result we had the boat discounted accordingly and listed as is. It had been explained further that the last time the boat was in the water was the summer of 2019 (prior to Covid). Prior to the sale you had a third party marine mechanic/ inspector of your choice come and perform an inspection prior to the sale. We were not aware of any defects or repairs required and nothing was indicated at that time. In regards to the engine repair; we are just now being made aware of. We have not received any documentation to support this claim. We value both our customers and reputation dearly.
We are aware that on your way home you had an incident with the trailers wheel bearing. This is a very unfortunate and unforeseen circumstance but we sympathize greatly. As a result we would be happy to compensate you for that. We have requested documentation or receipts in order to compensate the correct amount and have yet to receive anything. We are still willing to offer you compensation for both the trailer repair and the rental as a full and final settlement to any/ all claims.
